Our expert hosting team will constantly monitor your store, watching to see if any core features are ready for a patch, and generally keeping you ahead of the game.

When a security vulnerability is discovered, a patch will be installed to close any loopholes.

The following folders will not be 'trampled on' when we patch, update or upgrade your storefront as part of the preFIX program:

• The Skins folder(s)
• The Images folder and its subfolders
• The Downloads folder

Out-of-the-box, AspDotNetStorefront delivers the product page layouts as seen

While this is a great choice, we are constantly hearing of new layouts that our store-owners would appreciate. At least once per quarter, we will release new product page layouts that will only be available to preFIX users (and will be free as part of the preFIX program.)

Don't forget to take advantage of the preFIX feature request program to tell us, among other things, what you might like to see on a new product page layout.

AspDotNetStorefront v10 dramatically improves the security of telephone orders. At the same time, we have made it much easier for an administrator to add/edit a customer's shopping cart.

This easy, convenient add-on will simplify your administrative efforts.

Your homepage includes a section which can showcase specific products. You can choose products from a category to display randomly, or you can define specific product ID's that you'd like to appear. You can control the header text to say 'Customer Favorites' or 'Popular Products'(or anything you like!), and you can decide how many items you want to appear, and in how many columns.

Your template includes a "Promo Box" - this is a modal window that displays after a few seconds that a visitor first browses the site that can invite them to sign up for your newsletter, offer a coupon code, or alert visitors about upcoming promotions or events.

The promo window uses cookies to ensure that it only appears to each visitor to the store once every 7 days by default. This is to prevent over-notifying return visitors with repeat information.

Your homepage includes a section which can showcase specific product groups, or "entities". You can choose which product groups appear on the homepage, and control the header text to say 'Featured Categories' or 'Popular Departments' (or anything else you like!), and you can decide how many items you want to appear, and in how many columns.

If you sell a high volume of products, and especially if they are grouped together with many similar products inside the same group, then you will want to 'guide' your shoppers to find exactly what they are looking for.

Imagine a large group of products that could be divided by color, or by price, or by brand ... our 'Guided Navigation' allows you to cross-match these attributes with your category and create a very intuitive shopping experience.

AspDotNetStorefront can be configured to send out 'notifications' to your shoppers:

For internal eyes only: We run DotUpgrade and DotSkin but we don’t change DNS. The end result is staged. The store-owner pays a small premium. The result of DotUpgrade is staged and the storeowner can EITHER go and make changes on the (still live) legacy site and request a re-run OR can make changes on the staged site (this is more work for the store-owner) and copy them over himself the very moment the new site goes live.

Once you're on the preFIX program, you will find you're really happy with the freedom from anxiety over the cost and disruption of upgrades.

It's true, though, that preFIX prohibits you from making some custom changes in which you might otherwise invest.

There are really good reasons why almost all software companies support their product using a ticket system.

Probably the most compelling, is the fact that the incident is recorded in a single documented thread and many parties can understand the needs of the end-user and contribute to the solution.

We will honor a same day ticket response time for preFIX users. In reality that means that any ticket that you place before 3 pm Pacific time will be answered in the same business day - if you place a ticket after 3, then the reply might not be posted until the following day.

If you already own perpetual licensing rights for AspDotNetStorefront v10, then nothing will EVER take that away from you.

If you don't, then for as long as you subscribe to 'preFIX' we will give you full rights to have your store powered by the latest version of AspDotNetStorefront.

If at any stage you would like to move off the preFIX platform and revert to our 'on-premise' model for running your storefront, then we need to help you with stepping out into the world with a valid license. The cost of the on-premise licensing rights is reduced over time, so the longer you stay subscribed to preFIX, the less it will cost to move to an on-premise licensing model.

AspDotNetStorefront is natively 'MultiStore'.

That means that many domains can share one code base, and one admin console, and one database ... and yet each storefront can have its own settings, its own products, and its own design.
