AspDotNetStorefront Software Upgrade Options

Every AspDotNetStorefront license includes 30 days of free upgrades from date of purchase.  After 30 days, AspDotNetStorefront offers two ways to keep your AspDotNetStorefront software up to date. As we continually update the product, add new features, add security enhancements constantly, it is recommended that all customers try to stay fairly current on their versions.

There are two software upgrade plans available:

a)       Continuously Available Upgrades

b)      Version to Version Upgrades

The Continuously Available Upgrade Plan is the most economical choice for companies who wish to provide their online store with all of the advantages that the latest e-commerce technology offers.  This plan ensures that you always have the latest AspDotNetStorefront software available whenever it is released without having to budget and plan separately for version upgrade costs.  Continuously Available Upgrade Plans are available in terms of 12 months, and can be renewed upon expiration. 

Version to Version Upgrades can be used for moving from a specific older version to the latest version, and are designed for customers that wish to upgrade their site less frequently. Version to Version Upgrades can be purchased for a one-time upgrade fee (see pricing for more information).

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  I had already purchased a support and upgrades plan prior to 7/6/2008.  How am I affected?

A:  These changes will have no impact on your current support and upgrades contract.  You will still be entitled to any upgrades released during your subscription period, and will be able to renew the support and upgrades contract as an upgrades plan upon expiration.

Q:  Do software upgrade plans include support as well?

A:  Upgrade plans do not include support.  Support incidents can be purchased separately here.

Q:  Where can I download upgrades and view my current upgrades plan details?

A:  Continuously Available Upgrades can be downloaded on-demand from your license management page at http://www.aspdotnetstorefront.com/mylicenses.aspx.  The license management page will also allow you to view plan expiration dates, renew your plan, and purchase version upgrades. Version to Version Upgrades are purchased from that same page, on individual licenses you choose, using the Version Upgrade links provided for the license, if available.
