A MoreStore is a brilliant marketing tool, allowing you to present many different 'faces' to the same storefront.
These stores can all look the same, or all look completely different.
You can run stores in different languages.
You can divide up your product set and create specialty stores. The possibilities are endless.
All versions of AspDotNetStorefront 9.x and 10.x work with MoreStores. If you are on the preFIX platform, you do not need to buy licensing rights for MoreStores - instead, you can modify your subscription to add more domains.

Is it expensive to get a MoreStore up and running?
- Unless you want to pay to have a whole new design, the only expenses are (a) the license purchase and (b) potentially an SSL certificate. In all other ways, you will re-use the work that you invested into your first store at minimal, and perhaps zero cost.
-
How long does it typically take to set up a MoreStore?
-
If we assume that you will use the same 'skin' as your original store, but that you'll use the stylesheet to change fonts, colors etc, then there's really not a lot to do. You'll consider some settings, map some products and you're done! it's normally a matter of an hour or two, beginning to end.
-
Can I give the MoreStore to an affiliate or reseller to run?
-
Yes! This is an ideal way to engage other parties to market your products. You have complete control over the quality of the store, and over prices and inventory levels, but an affiliate can drive traffic to you and earn commission.
-
Will all my MoreStores look the same?
-
It's totally up to you. Each MoreStore is assigned a 'skin' and you can use the same one each time, or start afresh. Normally, you will, at the least, change logo and probably control fonts and colors from the style sheet.
-
Do I need to buy a whole new domain name?
-
You are free to use any domain or subdomain name to suit yourself.
-
Can I host my MoreStore somewhere different from my original store?
-
Actually, it doesn't work that way. A MoreStore doesn't have its own files, or code. It shares everything with the original store, so you don't need to 'host' it anywhere. All the MoreStores are co-hosted.
-
If I double the number of domains, will I double my revenue??
-
Hmmm ... there's every chance, as long as you also double the effort you put into your sales efforts. Each domain deserves to have email campaigns, deserves to have promotions, deserves to be optimized and marketed. If you invest in that work, then your sales will reflect your work. And remember - you can set affilliates onto marketing your MoreStores.
-
Can I use one store as a retail base and another for my wholesale?
-
There are many ways to manage a wholesale store with AspDotNetStorefront. You don't necessarily need to use a MoreStore, but it certainly works like a dream.
-
Will all the MoreStores share the same checkout?
-
The checkout, like many other things, is under your own control. You can share, or sever, the checkout, the product set, your shipping methods, your topics, and almost everything.
-
Do I need a different payment gateway for my new MoreStore?
-
One merchant account, and one gateway, can be used for more than one storefront so, no, you don't need to setup anything new.
-
Can I run different MoreStores in different languages?
-
Yes - using a MoreStore to operate a store in a different language or for a different culture is one of many brilliant ways to take full benefit of the power of MoreStores.
